JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is based out of our Senai Plant, Johor.

JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  1. Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRAO), Safe Operating Procedure (SOP) and Job Safety Analysis at work areas.
  2. To assist in monitoring and identifying hazards at workplace, environmental and security issue.
  3. To conduct daily Safety & Health, Environmental and Security Inspection, submit the report of findings and follow up action to be taken.
  4. Safety and Health, Environmental and Security Data Administrations. Data Entry, collection, collation and safekeeping all HSE and Security documents.
  5. To assist and conducting Investigation including preparing full report on all occurrences in any incident or accident which related to HSE and Security.
  6. To assist in conducting / delivering any HSE and Security training programs, activities or promotions at workplace.
  7. To assist in coordinating any issue with local Authorities or Government Agencies: D.O.S.H, D.O.E, Ministry of Heath, Police Department and OTHERS
  8. To assist in checking and monitoring all Certified Machineries, Fire Safety Systems and other equipment for the purposed of maintaining safe work practices and conditions in plants.
  9. To conduct routine checking and enforcement related to HSE and Security requirements in compliance with Company's Policy and Procedures to all level of employees, internal and external Contractors, Vendors and also Visitors.
  10. Monitor unsafe acts and unsafe conditions at workplaces, corrective and preventive actions taken.
  11. Managing the Environmental Aspect of the General & Schedules Waste of the Company.
  12. Any other duties and responsibilities as required by Management.


SECONDARY DUTIES:

  1. In charged in controlling, checking and monitoring Security Personnel performances, data recording, personnel attires and other matters related to Security.
  2. To participate and coordinating 5S activities under HSE and also at workplaces.


JOB REQUIREMENT

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health from any professional body of institution with 5 years experience.
  2. Candidate must be certified as Safety & Health Officer by DOSH Malaysia.
  3. Candidate must be a DOSH Green Book Holder.
  4. Can work independently and enforce compliance of regulatory requirement.
  5. Possess positive attitude, discipline, good interpersonal skills and systematic.
  6. Experience in Manufacturing environment, knowledge in ISO 140001 / ISO 45001.
  7. Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  8. Able to plan, organise, evaluate and lead activity schedules and direct the work of others.
  9. Strong attention to detail, while also able to see long-term strategic improvements and developments.
  10. Exhibit a good attitude and demonstrates interpersonal skills to work with people from different backgrounds.
