We are looking for a dedicated Tender Engineer to join a dynamic commercial team in the subsea cable transport and storage sector. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and submitting competitive tenders for various projects.

Your contributions will be essential in securing contracts and creating tailored solutions for cable transportation and storage in maritime environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess project specifications and client needs to create tailored tender proposals for cable transport and storage.
• Compile and submit competitive pricing and tender documents within specified deadlines.
• Work closely with engineering, logistics, and procurement teams to guarantee the accuracy and feasibility of tenders.
• Perform risk assessments and suggest strategies to mitigate potential issues in submissions.
• Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements and ensure that proposals meet their expectations.
• Engage in client presentations, offering technical support and necessary clarifications.
• Track the progress of tenders to ensure timely submissions and appropriate follow-ups.
• Support post-tender negotiations by providing insights into contractual details.
• Keep up-to-date with market trends and technological developments in the maritime and cable transport industries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maritime, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in tendering, project engineering, or a similar position in the maritime or subsea cable transport field.
• Comprehensive understanding of cable transport, storage, and related maritime operations.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple tenders at once.
• Effective communication and presentation skills in English (knowledge of Dutch or other languages is advantageous).
• Proficient in MS Office and tendering software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A sincere interest in contributing to the energy transition.
