As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Instrument Engineer DTR with  experience in onshore or offshore projects.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
 
What will you be doing?
  • Gain detailed knowledge of your assigned scope of work.
  • Provide discipline input to complete the design basis during start-up.
  • Coordinate work with additional team members from your discipline.
  • Ensure team members understand the scope of work.
  • Maintain clear interfaces with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Establish and maintain the activity schedule for your discipline.
  • Perform estimation and planning activities.
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines and follow up on clarifications.
  • Manage the discipline material budget (MTO), if relevant.
  • Maintain the document development schedule for your discipline.
  • Implement approved changes into the schedule.

 
Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Experience and knowledge of relevant design rules, regulations, and standards, including NORSOK and relevant standards/regulations for NCS.
  • Educational background: Associate Degree, Vocational School, BSc, or MSc.
  • Ability to execute tasks, take responsibility, and make decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Leadership qualities and experience mentoring younger engineers.
  • Proficiency in project-specific software, including Microsoft, Procosys, MIPS, and Stid.
  • Experienced and able to maintain an overview.
  • Willingness to teach and share knowledge.
  • Strong cooperation and hands-on skills.
  • Effective time management abilities.
