As a subsea robotics engineer, your main missions will be as follows :
- To support the ambitions and objectives of the R&D Subsea Robotics Project
- To support the Project Leader maintain a portfolio of emerging State of the Art Technologies within the Subsea Robotics perimeter
- To assist with the execution of Subsea Robotics projects and witness testing activities globally
- To support the Project Leader in using a subsea robotic simulator to further develop methods of evaluation of the performance, by defining missions in a simulated subsea environment and evaluating performance of the vehicle technology by calculating metrics to demonstrate the concept of near real time evaluation of performance
- To support the Project Leader with the development of analyzing operational data (both payload and vehicle) to identify emerging opportunities to assist with Asset Integrity.
Candidate Profile
Expected qualifications :
Master degree in Engineering or Mathematics relevant to position (Mechatronics, Software, Data analysis)
Technical skills :
- Strong knowledge in Robotics or Mecatronics, software engineering, subsea engineering and/or data science
- Good data analytical skills
Computing skills :
- Knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of data analysis tools
- Knowledge of PowerBI
Languages :
- English: level C1
- French: level B2
- Norvegian : A2 - not necessary, although an advantage if some knowledge/wanting to learn
