Engineering- Role: Contract Engineer

Job Description:
The service holder is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities (tendering / contracting phase) of contracts that could be necessary during the Life of Project and activities related to the management of Feed contracts up to the close out.
Responsibilities:
- Support Project Management for Contract NTOKON Project activities.
- Stay informed about Company Rules, Specifications, and procedures related to Contract and Procurement.
- Implement and verify procedures associated with Contract activities.
- Organize, direct, supervise, and support contract engineers.
- Coordinate the tendering/contracting process, including pre-qualification if necessary.
- Manage Contract Management during the Execution of the FEED Contract.
- Participate in the settlement of disputes with legal, insurance, and finance specialists.
- Coordinate/participate in the approval process of contract amendments.
- Apply or ensure the application of the Due Diligence procedure.
- Supervise the close-out of Contracts.
- Define and implement a reporting process for Contract Management activities.
- Report to the Project Control Manager, highlighting progress and areas of concern.
- Gather 'lessons learnt' and provide feedback to other company entities.
- Act as Project Control Manager in their absence.
- Qualification: An engineering degree or an equivalent qualification is required, along with a comprehensive understanding of contract development and management in an international context. While membership in the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS UK or Nigeria) or similar supply chain organizations is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged. Candidate's ability to utilize SAP/R3 and e-sourcing tools will be an added advantage.

- Professional Experience: 10-20 years.
- Experience in similar position: 7-10 years.
Ntokon project is a development in OML102 block in Nigeria based on minimalistic wellhead platform tied-back to Ofon OFP2 CPP via 26km pipelines (1 multiphasic production line, 1 water injection line).
Ntokon is an innovation driven Project with Conductor Supported Platform and Zapock pipeline concepts to be rolled-out.
FEED will start October 2024 for 5 months; FID is expected end Q1 2025 and first oil Q2 2027 which intends to make Ntokon the flagship of Totalenergies capacity to develop resources in minimal time.
The Ntokon Project will be developed with the objectives to maximize economical results by optimizing the reserves, the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus. Project overall value: 700 MUSD.
Package value: CAPEX 450 MUSD (3-4 packages), DRILLEX 250 MUSD.
Staff managed (number of personnel): 1 pre-FID - 20+ post FID.
