Elevate Your Career in Lead Rotating Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Rotating Engineer to join our team in Paris, France. This is a full-time contract position with a focus on rotating equipment engineering for gas facilities.

Role Overview
  • Lead the rotating and mechanical studies, design, and specifications for CPF during FEED studies and EPC phases.
  • Ensure accurate definition of reference framework and deliverables for the desired estimation class.
  • Conduct value engineering to optimize technical engineering file before entering FEED or EPC phases.
  • Provide inputs for LLI definitions and associated CFT.
  • Deliver high-quality rotating and mechanical discipline deliverables for EPC CFT.
  • Promote proven engineering solutions for safety, operation, and maintenance of installations.
  • Participate in technical reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, workshops, and ad hoc meetings as needed.
  • Review FEED contractor documents and approve deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Identify and monitor interfaces with other package developments that may impact the discipline.
  • Contribute to tendering process and participate in technical clarifications phase for discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Accurately monitor and expedite technical queries and deviation requests within appropriate timeframe.
  • Maintain close communication and reporting to FEED CPF Engineering Lead on discipline progress and issues.
  • Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
  • Analyse system performance and provide energy-saving solutions.
  • Recommend technical and economic optimizations for existing facilities.
  • Lead feasibility/profitability studies for new facilities.
  • Assist in training, development, and mentoring of junior staff.
  • Provide analysis, evaluation, and interpretation for projects, processes, and investment decisions.
  • Maintain and expand contacts within the industry.
  • Regularly interact with other professionals involved in capital planning and economic analysis.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience in rotating and mechanical discipline for gas facilities.
  • Knowledge of feed studies, rotating equipment engineering, and rotating equipment.
  • Optional experience in rotating and mechanical discipline for gas facilities, FEED studies, EPC phases, value engineering, LLI definitions, CFT, technical reviews, HAZID, workshops, ad hoc meetings, industry standards, best practices, deviation requests, engineering documentation, drawings, system performance analysis, energy-saving solutions, upgrade recommendations, feasibility/profitability studies.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in rotating and mechanical discipline for gas facilities.
  • Certifications in relevant disciplines or ITIL advantageous.
