Job Title: Marine Pilot
Overview:
An established energy organization is seeking a skilled Marine Pilot to oversee vessel operations at its ports. This role encompasses channel navigation, harbor maneuvers, and offshore Single Point Mooring (SPM) activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide marine pilotage for various vessel types, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Navigate approach channels, manage harbor movements, and support offshore mooring operations.
- Adhere to international, regional, and local maritime regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:

Experience:
- At least 10 years of seafaring experience as an Officer of the Watch, with 5 years as Chief Officer or Master on large vessels (e.g., VLCC or Capesize).
- Alternatively, 5 years of seafaring experience as Chief Officer or Master on large vessels plus 5 years as a Pilot handling diverse vessel types.

Knowledge:
- Familiarity with international maritime conventions (e.g., SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW).
- Comprehensive understanding of port operations, including rules, policies, and cargo management.
- Awareness of workplace hazards and safety measures in port environments.

Skills:
- Strong organizational and planning abilities, capable of independent target execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English (proficiency at a high level required).
- Analytical mindset and leadership qualities, capable of working collaboratively in a maritime-focused team.
- Performance-driven with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Education:
- Master Mariner (Foreign Going) Class I certification required.
