Digital Solutions Center Manager

Your role and responsibilities

You will be Mainly Accountable for : • Studding customer requirement for RTU and SCADA based on the specs and conducted meetings. • Preparing the system architecture and Bill of materials accordingly • Programming and commissioning of RTU/SCADA and relays communication settings based on different communication protocols. • Performing all the activities related to assigned Projects including preparation of drawings, BOM, schematics and automation drawings. • Identifying the best automation solution that meets the customer requirements. • Supporting in testing this solution and give the after sales service. • Implementing latest technologies related to the product and being sure of following proper processes related to this activity • Technical studies and review for orders in hand to be sure that all client specification is strictly followed. • You will be in direct interaction with clients, supporting clients in the favor of the company by promoting the products. • You will work in cooperation with engineering manager, project management and planning to evenly load the factory production line, job holder shall be in control and knowledge of the Orders running in hand and he is responsible to clear all the related difficulties and comments related to his assigned tasks to release the order for manufacturing. • You will cautiously monitor the department Key performance indicators such as FPY and OPQ, continuous monitoring and analysis are of the main responsibilities of the job holder. Refining the criteria of measurements is also key parameter of performance. • You will be in direct interaction with key clients as input for product marketing, supporting clients in the favor of the company by promoting ABB products and also leaving positive impression about ABB employees and he is one of the team in direct contacts with ABB clients. • Improving customer experience is also a key parameter of the job holder, he is part of the team collecting and resolving the customer complains by ABB official tool which is CCRP. • You will be subjected to perform techno-commercial studies for selected offers. • Job holder might be subjected to perform site visits with service experts to give his technical support in the automation field to either ABB service team or customer. • You will participate with the engineering team in the efforts to promote ABB ability solutions especially in the digital electrical solutions. • You will be expected to perform all of the above tasks by applying ABB values.

Qualifications for the role

• 1-2 years of experience as automation engineer
• Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.
• French is an advantage
• good knowledge and experience in electrical and automation systems with good knowledge about design processes, trainings about SAP, customer satisfaction, communication skills, presentation skills, ISO 9001 requirements, Company mission and vision and policies with good knowledge about related software applications (AutoCAD and Eplan).
• RTU and Substation SCADA systems experience is a must.
• The typical problems that the job holder is expected to resolve independently are mainly related to technical problems.
• Knowledge in Microsoft office, communication skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to work in teams, self-motivation, respond positively to challenges.
