Job Purpose
Provide specialized process engineering expertise and flow assurance support during the EPC and Startup phases until handover to operations. Ensure all deliverables meet safety, operability, reliability, and maintainability requirements over the facility's lifecycle.

Reporting To: Head of Engineering

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and Safety Assurance
   
   • Support design reviews, HAZID, SIL, HAZOP, and risk assessments to ensure alignment with safety and operational standards.
   • Develop Standard Operating Procedures for new projects and align them with Qatargas and international specifications.
2. Operations and Troubleshooting
   
   • Implement and monitor process surveillance tools for safe, reliable production.
   • Provide timely troubleshooting and engineering recommendations based on surveillance data.
3. Commissioning and Start-up Support
   
   • Actively participate in system completions, walk-downs, and high-risk commissioning activities.
   • Optimize systems through tuning and surveillance during start-up.
4. Handover and Project Integration
   
   • Manage issue registers to resolve critical project issues, including new technology risks.
   • Prepare and deliver handover packages for operations following the start-up phase.
5. Technical Guidance
   
   • Offer technical expertise to operations, maintenance, and cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in an oil and gas environment, with proven expertise in process engineering.

Technical Skills

• Advanced knowledge of process simulation, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Familiarity with engineering tools and internationally accepted specifications.
• Expertise in conducting and applying hazard analysis (HAZOP, Bow-Tie, LOPA).
• Proficient in analyzing heat and mass balances, corrosion protection, and loss prevention techniques.

Competencies

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills under high-pressure conditions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
