We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Platform Operations Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the operation, support, and improvement of our application infrastructure. You will ensure the stability, reliability, and availability of our platforms, which include a mix of on-premises and cloud-based systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise in platform operations, incident management, and system administration.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

• Assist in supporting and maintaining application infrastructure and platforms across on-premises and cloud-based environments.
• Perform day-to-day operational tasks, participate in change, incident, and problem management processes, including performing root cause analyses and implementing preventive measures.
• Work on automating operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Contribute to the ongoing modernization effort, assisting in the migration of on-premises systems to cloud platforms and ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with engineering and other technical and non-technical teams in an international setting.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis, addressing production issues promptly and effectively.

For this role, you will need:

• Experience with Linux operating systems, knowledge of Windows systems is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role, with hands-on responsibility for supporting and maintaining application platforms.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident response processes.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ELK, or Ansible, is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure is an advantage.
• Understanding of basic network principles and web technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, routing, load balancing, CDNs, WAF security, etc.) is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and tackle technical challenges.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
