As a Senior HSE Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible foroverseeing and managing the health, safety, and environmental engineeringefforts within our Aerospace Technologies business unit. You will play a crucialrole in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety for our employees,compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of bestpractices in engineering-related safety. You will collaborate with a dedicatedteam of HSE professionals and other departments to promote a culture of safetyand environmental responsibility.

You will report directly to our HSE&F Manager and you will work out of ourPenang, Malaysia location.

In this role, you will impact our organization by developing and implementinghealth, safety, and environmental programs that ensure compliance withregulations and industry standards. Your leadership in driving continuousimprovement in HSE performance will not only protect our workforce but alsoenhance operational efficiency and productivity. Your ability to identifysafety initiatives and advocate for HSE practices will contribute to theoverall resiliency and sustainability of our business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with theorganization's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmentalresponsibility.
• Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, andenvironmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
• Stay updated on changing regulations and industry best practices.
• Develop and implement proactive safety measures, training, and policies toprevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses in the workplace.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potentialhazards, providing engineering solutions and preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for HSE-relatedincidents, including accidents and environmental emergencies.
• Develop and manage the HSE budget, allocate resources, and seekcost-effective solutions to maintain high standards of health, safety, andenvironmental protection.
• Promote environmental sustainability by implementing eco-friendly practicesand minimizing the environmental impact of the organization's operations.
• Establish and enforce quality control standards in HSE engineering,conducting regular inspections and performance assessments.
• Leverage advanced technology solutions to enhance safety and environmentalmonitoring, reporting, and incident response.
• Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, andexternal stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, andeducation on HSE matters.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 6+ years of experience in HSE engineering
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and bestpractices.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
• Certification in HSE related field is a plus, such asSafety and Health Officer (SHO), Certified Environmental Professional InScheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM), Radiation Protection Officer (RPO), CertifiedEnvironmental Professionals in Sewage Treatment Plant Operation (CePSTPO) or anyother related certifications will be added advantage.
