R&D Department Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB's success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process Control Platform Division in Bangalore Location. You will be mainly accountable for: • Participate in requirement analysis, making sure that sustainable tests are created. • Define and communicate the test scope per requirement - by creating acceptance criteria for each. • Overview of all the test scope in various phases of test life cycle. • Co-ordinate with Product owner & Development team to create a Product test strategy. • Manage and maintain the test plan with dependencies and constraints. • Support all development and test teams in defining the test environments and applications suitable for efficient testing.

Qualifications for the role

• Thorough Knowledge of ABB S+/800xA Systems.
• At least 5-6 years of Experience in ABB 800xA/S+ Deployment, Engineering and Operation
• Experience in Cyber Security applied on Industrial Automation offerings.
• Experience in Industrial Automation Systems and Protocols verification and validation
• Complete understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, white and black box test methodologies, Scale Agile and Continuous Integration
• Systemic approach for analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working with globally distributed teams and proven positive asserting skills.
