Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to set up and execute routine tests for different products in accordance with standard testing methodologies and requirements. Each day, you will perform your tasks or activities using skills and techniques as well as a practical understanding of concepts used in the field of technology. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring proper documentation of the test results. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process Control Platform (PCP) Division in Bangalore Location. You will be mainly accountable for: Manual Testing Skills, with good STLC Knowledge and sound Defect management and requirements analysis background • Sets up and executes routine tests for all types of products according to test plans in cooperation with operators, assistants, or other resources. • Prepares test reports according to the applicable standard(s) for the tested product. • Supports the planning and implementation of test plans by coordinating with the allocated resources. • Skilled with writing Test Cases (Optional: Azure Test Plans) in the accurate format with good coverage to test the application under test • Writing Test Reports & Conclusion Of Testing summaries for release acceptance and downstream tests.

Qualifications for the role

• Looking for 5+years of experience in Manual and automation testing .
• Good knowledge on Azure DevOps and Agile Methodologies to work with Agile teams and ADO Bugs/Work Items.
• Experience with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure, Redhat and their Kubernetes offerings (EKS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift, Microshift)
• Understanding the components (nodes, pods, services, etc.) and how they interact.
• Good understanding of RHEL/Linux core concepts with additional experience around Basic commands, File System interactions , Shell , SSH , user/package management & network configuration.
• Domain Expertise: Preference in Industrial Domain, with skills around control systems , 800xA , DCS Systems , Symphony+ , MODBUS , OPCUA , IOT Devices & Cloud Technologies.
