Job Purpose

• Instrument Technician is subordinates to Senior Instrument Supervisor Offshore.
• The workplace of the Instrument Technician is LAM which is he assigned for.
• Instrument Technician is appointed and dismissed by order of the DOTL Director - Turkmenistan Operations as advised by Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Upon admission to work and in the course of work, undergo a medical examination, instruction, training and knowledge testing in the prescribed manner.
• Perform only the work that is entrusted to him.
• Work only with serviceable tools and equipment. Immediately report any faults to line manager.
• Keep the work area and the designated area in order and cleanliness. Avoid obstructing walkways and driveways.
• Every accident, regardless of its severity, should be immediately reported to line manager. Do not change the situation at the scene of the accident before the arrival of the committee, if this is not associated with a danger to human life, with the possibility of an accident. Provide assistance to the victim.
• Take an active part in the work to improve working conditions, develop and implement labour protection measures, in the discussion of persons who violate safety rules.
• Do not allow unauthorized persons to enter the workplace and operating facilities of the enterprise.
• Before work, prepare the workplace, check the serviceability of tools and devices, and receive instructions at the workplace before each new assignment and in case of changes in working conditions.
• Take an active part in the work to improve working conditions, develop and implement labour protection measures, in the discussion of persons who violate safety rules.
• Do not allow unauthorized persons to enter the workplace and operating facilities of the enterprise.
• Before work, prepare the workplace, check the serviceability of tools and devices, receive instructions at the workplace before each new work and in case of changes in working conditions.
• Work inside vessels, gas hazardous, hot, excavation work on existing fire and explosive facilities should be performed only in accordance with written work permits.
• Before opening vessels, pipelines and any other equipment operating under pressure and designed to work with corrosive, aggressive and flammable products personally make sure that there is no pressure and liquid in the system.

Education

Qualification Requirements :

• Degree in Electrical Engineering / Instrument Engineering or Diploma in Electrical/ Instrument & have 5 years' experience in installation Commissioning, operation & maintenance of Electrical & Instrumentation equipment in OIL FIELD. In addition, to have knowledge in maintenance of mechanical Equipment, Programmable Logic Control. (PLC) & Multiphase Flow Meters, Reverse Osmosis System, Line heaters, Fire & Smoke Detection System. Testing & Calibration. Capable to read &draw Sematic Diagrams.
