Physical Requirements
Years of Experience
- Monitors, inspects and advises on HSE matters including systems of work, fire, safety, occupational health and environmental control systems and equipment.
- Regular contacts with production, logistics, well services & marine and maintenance personnel at all levels on assigned facilities to review and follow up on working practice and provide advice and assistance as required.
Job Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the promotion of company HSE policies, plans and programmes.
- Monitors, inspects and advises on HSE matters including systems of work, fire, safety occupational health and environmental control systems and equipment.
- Ensures that all employees complying with required Personnel protective equipment and use safety equipment as per the company HSE policy and procedure when required.
- Conducting & observes offshore emergency drills and exercises and preparing report.
- Conducting HSE awareness training programs and promotes safety awareness among facilities personnel.
- Carries out regular inspections offshore platform, living quarters and working facilities to ensure proper adherence to the company's regulations and procedures.
- Ensures that appropriate firefighting equipment, detection system, lifesaving equipment and environmental control equipment are available, accessible, serviced and in good operating condition.
- Monitors the issue and implementation of permit to work system,
- Identifies hazardous areas, recommends corrective actions for imminent hazards,
- Identifies high risk activities/tasks for risk assessment and coordinate such exercise with the facility supervisor.
Education
Eligibility Criteria:
- Higher Professional education or Secondary Professional education;
- The minimum years of experience required: Five years of experience in oil and gas industry in the field of health, safety and environment, and 3 years as field safety officer on operating facilities and offshore projects.
- Professional HSE qualification as NEBOSH IGC/O&G, IOSH Managing Safely, etc. To hold a valid Basic Offshore Safety Induction Emergency Training (BOSIET) certificate.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Turkmen and/or Russian languages.
