The Senior Technology Development Engineer holds deep system understanding and use this to drive quality in hardware, software, and system related matters. The system knowledge and technical know-how enables technical- and problem-solving skills that contributes growing quality and performance of the products throughout the product's lifecycle. Works as a coordinated part of the technology department to ensure that requirements are meat and solutions are sound. Instrumental role in system testing to ensure performance and functionality according to requirements.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Support embedded/software groups with testing and offer mentorship for HW/SW requirements and contribute to firmware and app-code testing through scripting/coding.

• Overall responsibility for system assembly, testing, and integration.

• Conduct system validation during development and assess overall FMECA.

• Evaluate system changes for potential impacts and relationships between components.

• Support system software testing and ensure technology development is implemented and tested effectively.

• Plan, execute, and report on RE&D flow loop tests, prototype testing, and data gathering.

• Facilitate technology knowledge transfer from RE&D to other departments.

• Oversee the technical status of the sensor pool, ensuring efficient resource and budget management.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Higher education in petroleum, subsea engineering, physics, electronics, instrumentation, metering or similar.

• Proven experience or high skills might compensate for lack of formal education.

• English: Fluently of oral and written English with technical vocabulary.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Preferred experience: multiphase metering systems, electronics, basic python programming, practical experience with measurement sensors and instrumentation in general (commissioning and fixing).
