The Senior Technology Development Engineer is ensuring that quality of current and new products becomes according to the requirements, and searches for possibility to drive quality in hardware, software, and system related matters. This is achieved through deep system understanding as well as the application.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Transfer microwave technology expertise (software, hardware, troubleshooting) to service and aftersales teams.
• Supports embedded/software group with testing and assists with input to HW/SW requirement.
• Contributes to firmware (HW), app-code (SW) testing by scripting/coding test solutions.
• Produce high quality technical reports and memos when relevant to work tasks.
• Acts as reviewer and approver for documents within technology/embedded and software group in relevant topics.
• Overall responsibility for system assembly, test, and integration.
• Key resource in assessing the overall FMECA. - does external candidates know what this is?
• Evaluate the available information on the complete system under development to determine how a change or new development may affect existing components or systems and their interrelationships.- rewrite or remove?
• Responsible for user-application-requirements inputs to the Product Requirement Specifications.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Higher education in petroleum, subsea engineering, physics, electronics, instrumentation, metering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience or advanced skills may compensate for the absence of formal education.
• Fluent in oral and written English, including the use of technical vocabulary.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Familiarity with multiphase metering systems.
• Basic proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with instrumentation and sensors.
