In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Design & Architecture:
- Develop and implement scalable storage architectures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals; Design storage solutions for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, including SAN, NAS, object storage, and cloud storage solutions
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to understand storage requirements and optimize storage systems
Storage Management & Optimization:
- Oversee the deployment, administration, and monitoring of enterprise storage systems, ensuring high availability and performance; Manage data replication, snapshotting, and backup/recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and compliance with disaster recovery objectives
- Perform regular storage audits, capacity planning, and optimization to anticipate growth and prevent storage bottlenecks
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Proactively monitor and maintain storage systems, ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution of storage-related issues
- Lead incident and problem management processes for storage systems, including root cause analysis and developing long-term solutions
Security & Compliance:
- Ensure all storage environments comply with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Implement and manage data encryption, access controls, and other security measures to safeguard sensitive data
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams
- Work closely with network, virtualization, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of storage infrastructure; Lead projects related to storage system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of storage environments, configurations, and procedures
- Prepare regular reports on storage utilization, performance, and incident trends for management review
Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Experience with Azure, AWS and OCI and virtual technologies: VMWare, Nutanix AHV, Hyper-V
- Experience with RHEL, SLES, OEL; fundamental knowledge Oracle EBS, Oracle DB and SAP
- Experience in shell scripting and automation; proven experience with storage platforms such as NetApp, EMC, Hitachi, Dell, or similar
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Strong knowledge of storage protocols (e.g., iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, CIFS) and replication technologies
- Experience with backup and recovery tools (e.g., Commvault)
