JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently recruiting for Process Surveillance Engineer to strengthen our team in Basra, Iraq 5/2, we are only considering applications from local Iraqi nationals preferably residing in Iraq, Basra.

WQ1 continues to work towards increasing production and offers unique and challenging opportunities for energetic process engineers to learn and contribute. Excellent opportunity to gain operational support experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct daily facilities/process surveillance work in degassing stations
• Support operations in troubleshooting and debottlenecking
• Support achieve daily crude production / water injection targets are met. Reduce unscheduled downtime
• Lead or support increase in production / water injection
• Process modeling/simulation
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure facilities issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Identify any opportunity projects to be developed for degassing station facilities which help improve reliability and uptime and championing their advancement and completion

QUALIFICATIONS

• Chemical/Process Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• 5-15+ years relevant experience in facilities/operations conducting process/facilities surveillance /troubleshooting /debottlenecking/ opportunity identification. Individual with high level of experience/qualifications will be considered for Senior or lead positions Individuals with lesser experience may apply but require exceptional academic background and skills
• Experience with tools such as HYSYS/PipeSim/PI
• Excellent academic background.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Good teamwork, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills
• Strong Knowledge of production and water treatment facilities
• Knowledge of industry standards that apply to oil/gas and water processing.
• Eagerness to learn and solve technical problems
