As a member of the Offshore Service Support for Vestas Germany, you (m/f/d) will ensure that Health, Safety & Environment procedures are communicated and followed within the team working on an offshore wind farm. This is to ensure that global uniformed processes and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
This position is a Monday to Friday however also requires schedule flexibility based on issues that could arise with unforeseen circumstances like weather, technology etc. HSE support at the Baltic Eagle Site Office in Neu Mukran with occasional travels offshore together with the technicians.

As a member of the Offshore Service Support for Vestas Germany, you (m/f/d) will ensure that Health, Safety & Environment procedures are communicated and followed within the team working on an offshore wind farm. Responsibilities
- You will prepare and carry out Toolbox Talks, internal and external HSE inspections, and meetings. It will also be your responsibility to report incidents and support the project and management team in handling these incidents and taking the necessary corrective/preventive actions
- Support site in offshore service operations and improve safety awareness and perform daily HSE tasks
- Review and update HSE documents and assist in risk assessment and toolbox trainings
- Follow up on HSE processes and local legislation and deliver on customer requirements and participate in customer meetings
- Align with Service managers, supervisors and O&M team and advise on preventive and corrective actions and report hazard observations, near misses and incidents in the incident management system and support the incident investigations
- Roll out HSE campaigns and support the realization of the year action plan
- Facilitate and coordinate a positive safety culture, HSE campaigns and Team trainings
Qualifications
- You have an HSE profile and are interested in joining the offshore wind industry
- Have experience from a similar HSE role within wind power/energy sector or other relevant
- Have experience with HSE policies, processes and incident handling, registration and investigation
- Have good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to quickly understand new systems
- Have knowledge of Risk Assessment practices, COSHH, and the implementation of appropriate control processes
Competencies
- Are able to interpret legislation wording and convert this to useful local procedures
- Have a good understanding of lifting operations and associated regulations
- You must have good German and English language skills and be a skilled communicator
- Are enthusiastic and can work with limited supervision
- Have a structured work style
- Are able to coach teams to create an improved safety culture rather than just impose safety rules
