Are you interested in joining the Field Operations Department? Do you have a desire for providing metering support and recommendations to new projects and daily operations? If yes, then this position as Metering Engineer at TotalEnergies Denmark in Esbjerg might be your match!

Activities

As Metering Engineer in the Hydrocarbon Accounting team, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence on the metering setup in the affiliate. Overall, you have the responsibility of ensuring reliable metering providing valid raw data for allocation and reporting. You will work in an operational role where you support with troubleshooting and analysis on existing metering systems, and you will play a central role in defining the overall metering maintenance philosophy. Furthermore, you will apply your experience when you contribute with metering recommendations for new projects and studies.

These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:
  • Ensure compliance with TotalEnergies standard on metering philosophy
  • Define maintenance philosophy
  • Support Maintenance, Smartroom, and other departments on operational issues
  • Provide metering input and recommendations to studies and projects
  • Liaise with Commercial and HSE on legal and regulatory issues
  • Ensure reliable functionality of metering used in well testing

Candidate Profile

It is important that you possess a safety mindset and address the job with a strong understanding of the business and people. We are looking for a team player who likes to work methodically and you have a strong analytical mindset. You thrive both on helping others as well as taking on your own responsibilities.

Your profile

  • A BSc degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or a similar field.
  • A natural interest in understanding the thermodynamics regarding oil, gas, and water flow.
  • Knowledge of flow metering and instrumentation.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of oil/gas-related plant processes would be an advantage.
  • A strong understanding and focus on HSE matters.
