Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?
- Lead and coordinate the procurement package team, ensuring all deliverables meet project goals, procedures, and work instructions
- Oversee and follow up on the activities and performance of the Procurement Package Team for assigned packages
- Develop and maintain procurement strategies, plans, and budgets
- Handle supplier pre-qualification, inquiries, tender evaluations, negotiations, purchase orders, equipment and documentation deliveries, change and warranty management, invoice control, and project closeout
- Maintain close communication and collaboration with engineering and integration teams
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the contract and detailed knowledge of the technical and commercial scope of work for assigned packages
- Report project progress, status, schedule, cost, risk, and opportunities to the Procurement Manager as per project routines
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Strong systematic and analytical abilities.
- Commercially driven with technical insight.
- Proficient in contract and contract management.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- High integrity and ethical standards.
- Dedicated, proactive, and a strong team player.
- BSc/MSc in a relevant field. Relevant experience may compensate for the lack of higher education.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian.
