We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer specializing in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) to lead and manage critical aspects of our EPC projects. As a Senior Project Engineer, E&I, you will bridge the gap between system design and workshop implementation, ensuring that all electrical, instrumentation, control, telecom, and fire and gas systems are seamlessly integrated and executed to the highest standards.

FUNCTION OBJECTIVES

• Project Management: Support the Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager in leading oil and gas projects, ensuring alignment with budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

• Provide expert leadership for E&I activities, ensuring compliance with project objectives and client expectations.

• Develop and implement comprehensive E&I plans to guide project execution.

• Coordinate the integration of 3D modeling, site installation, testing, and startup processes for E&I systems.

• Address and resolve technical and operational challenges in E&I areas to meet project milestones.

• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, fabricators, and multidisciplinary teams for effective communication and collaboration.

• Lead and motivate the E&I project team, assigning tasks and ensuring they have the resources to succeed.

FUNCTION DIMENSION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead E&I project activities from planning and design to execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.

• Develop and monitor detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for E&I activities, making adjustments as necessary.

• Oversee key project phases such as mechanical completion, factory acceptance tests, punch list resolution, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate E&I solutions into project designs, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements.

• Support supply chain activities related to E&I purchases and subcontracting for engineering and construction services.

• Provide technical guidance during the detail engineering, 3D modeling, construction, and commissioning of E&I systems.

• Implement robust troubleshooting strategies to address project challenges effectively.

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of safety and sustainability within the team.

COMPETENCE & EXPERIENCE

• Education: Professional technical high school diploma in relevant technical disciplines (required); BSc degree would be an advantage but is not mandatory. Training in AI, 3D modeling, and cybersecurity is strongly preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 15 years in the energy sector, with extensive experience in E&I tasks within EPC projects.

• Proven track record of leading E&I activities from early phases to final client acceptance, including planning, execution, and troubleshooting.

• Strong experience with 3D modeling, site installation, testing, and startup processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Expertise in MEG, TEG, SRU/PWT, and other process system technologies is a strong advantage.

• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach. Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work in diverse environments are essential.
