Your role and responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be involved in maintaining robots and the and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and control failures of the robots at customers' facilities. Of course, you will first receive a training period during which you will be familiarized with our products and applications. In this role, you will work with the most modern robots available and have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies. You will be mainly accountable for: • Independently perform scheduled, preventive maintenance at our customers' facilities. You ensure that work can be done safely at all times. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the robotic systems and peripheral equipment in the Benelux. • During your activities, you pay due attention to collecting data (backup / loggings / System data) so that possible problems can be detected. • Troubleshooting and troubleshooting the robots and peripheral equipment. • You provide thorough reporting and advise the customer on optimal maintenance of the installation. Where possible, you will also carry out the recommended works yourself. After maintenance, you make sure the robot is ready for use so the customer can restart production with peace of mind. • You give (telephone) support to customers and colleagues, as well as workshops on (preventive) maintenance and you participate when sales-related events are organized. • Since this is a service, you must be willing to maintain flexible working hours. Qualifications for the role
- You have a technical education (e.g. electrical engineering, electronics or mechatronics), preferably bachelor level
- Several years of experience as a service technician is a plus
- Knowledge of automated processes and/or robotics is a plus.
- You have a basic understanding of programming.
- Good knowledge of the Dutch, French and English languages.
- You have a great sense of responsibility and good analytical skills, in addition you are very service-minded.
- You have no objection to moving within the Benelux.
- Since the work is mainly at the customers' premises, you will be offered a company car. Driver's license B is therefore required.
