Technical Consulting Manager II
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead consulting assignments. Each day, you will contribute to the development of consultancy products and services. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the creation of consulting business strategy. The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Service division. You will be mainly accountable for: • Providing quotes based on the project one-lines and specifications for the following: data collection, short circuit, equipment evaluation, coordination, arc flash, load flow, harmonic, and power quality analysis. • Writing and presenting engineering recommendations to improve power system reliability, safety, and preventative maintenance measures. • Completing tasks within the project timeline and budget. • Traveling domestically up to 25%. Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred) from an accredited institution and 3 - 5 years of experience.
- Ability to read, correctly interpret, and apply electrical one-lines, schematics, and instruction manuals.
- Software experience with Easy Power, SKM Powertools, ETAP, Aspen, and EMTP preferred.
- Willingness to work in a multi-task environment and work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to perform field duties as required
- PE, FE or EIT certification or willingness to obtain.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
