About The Role
Position: Mechanical Engineer 1 (New Grad)
Location: Claremont (Los Angeles County)
Level: Entry-level
We are looking for a motivated new graduate Mechanical Engineer ready to become an energy game-changer and engineer a sustainable future. In this role, you will perform a range of activities within the Mechanical Engineering team, requiring strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. You will interact with clients, manufacturers/vendors, and collaborate with various engineering disciplines. Additionally, you will become well-versed in department-specific codes and standards, enhancing your technical expertise.

- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare routine calculations under supervision
- Assist in the review of design drawings under supervision
- Assist in the preparation and review of technical specifications and requisitions
- Implement project design criteria
- Assist in the review and check vendor calculations
- Assist in the review and approval vendor documentation
- Implement department quality programs
- Engage in self-study efforts to maintain and expand technical proficiency
- Travel as required
- Other duties as assigned

About You
Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Coursework in Thermal Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Stress Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, Thermal System Design, and Solid Modeling is beneficial
- Entry level engineering position considering candidates with less than 2 years of experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word
• Proficient with CAD software preferred (e.g. Solid Works and AutoCAD).
Salary Range: $75K - $85K
