As a Field Service Engineer I at Honeywell, you will be accountable for providing technical assistance and service to our customers. You will work on a variety of projects, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues both remotely and on-site. Your expertise and problem-solving skills will ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our Lincolnshire, IL location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the success of our field service operations and contribute to the growth of the organization by delivering exceptional service and assistance to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide technical assistance and service to customers. Including overseeing maintenance, scheduling service contracts, and providing new quotations and renewals
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both remotely and on-site
• On-site management of customer inventory or providing inventory recommendations to customers
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction
• Manage equipment expansions and new installations and conduct training sessions for customers
• Complete administrative tasks, including trainings, travel and expense reports, timesheets, and other documentation.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, providing recommendations for improvement
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
The annual base salary range for this position is $52,800 - $74,800. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Associate's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in project management and execution
• Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
WE VALUE
• Experience in life safety business in the semiconductor industry
• Related Bachelor's degree
