Position Overview
In this position, you'll play a key role in supporting facilities construction, mechanical, and industrial projects. This is a semi-skilled position where your mechanical knowledge and basic understanding of construction trades will be put to good use. You'll work on diverse projects in industries like oil & gas, manufacturing, power plants, renewable energy (wind and solar), and more!
In this role, you'll help with a variety of tasks and get the opportunity to learn and grow in the field. Whether you're working on construction sites, production plants, or commercial facilities, you'll be a valuable part of the team, assisting with mechanical and construction work as needed. You'll also become familiar with Beitzel Corporation's products and services to help support our operations.
This job offers a lot of variety! You'll be on the move with extensive travel and out-of-town work, making it perfect for someone who enjoys new experiences and a flexible schedule. You'll need to be willing to work extended hours, including weekends, holidays, and possibly even nights.

What You'll Do
- Provide labor for various facilities construction, industrial, and mechanical projects
- Perform concrete work, rebar, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching, and general labor as required
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Learn to operate basic machinery such as a man-lift, scissor lift, fork-lift, etc.
- Learn to align machines and equipment
- Learn to assemble basic structures such as sheds, garages, etc.
Working Conditions
- Sit, talk, hear, read, and write
- Regularly walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Perform duties on-site at industrial and commercial locations
- Work in extreme temperature conditions and environments
- Perform work at a variety of heights
What You'll Bring
- 0-2 years of basic construction and/or mechanical experience preferred
- Possesses a mechanical aptitude with prior experience in commercial/industrial mechanical fields preferred
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Experience using basic hand tools
- Comfortable with working at heights preferred
