We have an opportunity for Verification andValidation Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Brno. Join a team that designs,develops and integrates highly complex software applications within HoneywellAerospace. You will be an active and integral member dedicated team thatcooperates on "Black box in the sky".

Honeywell has been an industry leader indata recorders for the commercial aviation industry - also known on aircraft as"black boxes." These critical devices passively collect large amounts ofinformation from multiple sources during each flight - cockpit voice (CV) data,or communication between pilots in the cockpit as well as between pilots andair traffic controllers, and flight data (FD), or how the aircraft systemsperform in-flight. Flight recorders ensure that, in the event of an accident,investigators can use the data to learn more about the chain of events leadingup to it.

As a member of the Flight Recordersengineering team, you will participate in the development of new generation offlight recorders (black boxes). Your main responsibilities will be splitbetween software testing and development, collecting requirements fromstakeholders, addressing and coordinating customer issues resolution.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office+ 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities

• Validation and Verification of software products within the Flight Recorders portfolio
• Development of automated V&V framework, performing manual and automated tests based on requirements, verifying bug fixes, test results analysis
• Contribute to product engineering documentation
• Requirements management - interpretation, provide valuable feedback
• Communicate findings/issues/expectations with stakeholders/team and actively contribute to their timely resolution

Key skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering. Advanced degree preferred and continuous learning expected.
• Knowledge of testing tools and procedures, source control (GIT, SVN...)
• Experience with programming in Python, automated UI test frameworks (Robot Framework, Bitbucket, Selenium, Android automation tools...)
• Ability to communicate in English language - B2 to C1
