Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Utilize advanced operations research techniques and the latest data analytics methodologies, including machine learning, predictive analytics, and big data analytics, to solve complex problems and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to streamline processes, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and to implement best practices.
- Conduct detailed analyses of processes, systems, and workflows to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to cost reduction efforts by actively seeking and reporting opportunities for improving throughput, reducing lead times, increasing efficiencies, and reducing variances.
- Design and execute experiments and simulations to test hypotheses and validate solutions.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in operations research, data analytics, and programming.
- Excellent critical thinking abilities and a proven track record of implementing successful improvement projects.
- Proficiency in the latest analytics techniques, including machine learning algorithms, predictive modeling, and big data technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar tools used for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, lead, and influence managers and peer groups.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other manufacturing management philosophies such as QRM (Quick Response Manufacturing), TOC (Theory of Constraints), etc.
