Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, load-bank test, and conduct start-ups on generators.
• Prepare accurate repair quotes and complete work orders efficiently.
• Perform major engine repairs and overhauls with high attention to detail.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency service.
• Maintain a comprehensive toolset, including a multi-meter and hand tools.
• Uphold safety standards, including obtaining an OSHA 10 certification if not already certified.
• Hold a valid DOT Card (or be willing to obtain one) and a valid driver's license.

Sign-On Bonus & Housing Stipend Requirements:

• Current EGSA Journeyman Certification or score over 90% on the KPS technician assessment exam.
• Reside within a 60-minute commute of mid-town Manhattan.
