Senior Control Systems Engineer – Water
  
About our client:
Our client is a leading provider of innovative, national automation engineering solutions to the water, power and renewables and mining sectors. With a commitment to providing expert assistance and leading-edge technology in service delivery, they have grown organically as a business. Due to this growth, they are seeking a Brisbane-based Senior Control System Engineer to join a friendly, high-performing team.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribution to design and commissioning of control systems for brownfield water projects in the main
  • Develop PLC and HMI software
  • Provide technical advice in system integration, testing, and commissioning
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to ensure optimal performance
  • Participate in continuous improvement and enhancement processes with multidisciplinary teams
 
Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or similar field
  • Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming
  • Knowledge of Geo SCADA, or Citect SCADA and control system hardware
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Water sector experience in an engineering services company
