Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Leadership: Promote and model a strong safety culture across all operations.
- Well Performance Management: Monitor and optimize gas lift and water injection for assigned wells to ensure maximum potential.
- Minimize Shortfalls: Assist in identifying, tracking, and reducing production shortfalls, ensuring clear understanding of impacts for both injectors and producers.
- Operational Oversight: Develop and maintain operational envelopes for wells, ensuring adherence to referential limits.
- Production Allocation: Ensure accurate well testing, approve test results, specify well potentials, and communicate updates across the organization.
- Reservoir Optimization: Provide expert advice on reservoir management during periods of suboptimal facility operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (Field Ops, Smart Room) to align on well potential, reservoir performance, and optimization opportunities.
- Forecasting: Advise on production predictions and reserves evaluations across short, medium, and long-term horizons.
- Data Acquisition: Define and coordinate data acquisition plans to support informed subsurface decision-making.
- Integrated Reviews: Contribute to field reviews led by the Reservoir Management Teams and provide well status updates for annual reserves reporting.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct transient pressure data interpretation, nodal analysis, and multiphase network modeling to enhance well performance.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff to build technical excellence across the team.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: MSc in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in reservoir and well operations.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong background in reservoir management and well operations.
- Experience with complex field reservoir management, long horizontal wells, and multi-zone completions.
- Proficiency in transient pressure data interpretation and nodal analysis.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong collaborative and communication skills.
- Ability to integrate and align with 2G&R peers and cross-functional teams.
