We are currently recruiting for a Senior HSE Manager to be placed in Haaksbergen, The Netherlands and would be on a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The Project HSE Manger will lead the project HSE organization and will support the Project Constructions Manager to manage risk to acceptable levels in line with the project HSE plan and client procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE team of the project site(s)
• Support the CM achieving the agreed HSE outcomes, within agreed project timeline and cost
• Support project contractors with preparation for low-risk execution
• Administration and reporting of project HSE plans, leading/lagging indicators, and events
• Communicate daily with the Construction Manager
• Maintain the site Construction HSE plan and HSE file
• Participate in risk analyses for the conditions of all construction
  activities
• Providing all necessary support, guidance and promotional
  activities related to the Construction HSE Plans to the Construction Manager and Client,
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and
  performed according to the HSE Plans
• Review and revise HSE Plans and risk analyses of (sub)contractors.
• Ensure that all regulations related to HSE are adequately addressed in the HSE plan and implemented
• Verify the work permit system
• Organize an induction program in which HSE and security aspects are
  are explained.
• Organizing regular HSE meetings with stakeholders and contractors
  Follow up on all HSE non conformance
  Reviewing topics for the (sub)contractor "tool box meetings".
• Attend meetings on an ad hoc basis and ensure actions are
  followed up by the contractors

• Candidate can work independently.
• Understanding the Engineering process.
• Sufficient computer skills to manage all project HSE requirements.
• Education: HVK
• Experience in working with/leading contractors (construction projects).
• Dutch and English language.
