QC Welding Supervisor

Location: Doha, Qatar / China - Residential

Contract Duration: Until 30 April 2027 & 28 Feb 2027

Are you a seasoned QC Welding Supervisor with a passion for excellence and a knack for leadership? Join our dynamic team in either Doha or China and play a pivotal role in our ambitious projects!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure the quality of welding activities on wellhead platforms, topsides, structures, piping, and pressure vessels.
• Implement and monitor compliance with applicable codes and standards such as AWS, ISO, API, ASTM, and ASME.
• ️ Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to NOC Standards and International codes/standards related to design, fabrication, and inspection.
• Lead and mentor a multicultural team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Utilize your comprehensive knowledge in welding, materials, and NDE to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• ️ Manage documentation and reporting using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications.

Qualifications:

• Education: HND/BTS level or COMPANY approved equivalent in engineering discipline.
• Certifications: AWS CWI, CSWIP Grade 3.2, or EWIP/IWIP-C or COMPANY approved equivalent.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years.
• Project Experience: Minimum 5 years in construction, specifically on wellhead platforms, topsides, structures, piping, and pressure vessels.
• ️ Skills:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex and multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications.
• ️ Language: English mandatory.
• Training: H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET.
