What are you going to do

ROLE PURPOSE

• Lead and manage structural engineering deliverables on projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Oversee the design and analysis of structural mooring components of various SBM product (FPSO, terminals, Turret, Renewable or Life extension activities), ensuring they can withstand complex loading and extreme environmental conditions such as waves, wind, and corrosive environments.
• Work closely with project stakeholders and other engineers to develop innovative solutions that meet project or department needs.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance.

Essential skills and knowledge

JOB REQUIREMENTS



School/studies/degree: Structural Engineer



Experience: Around 10 years

• Solid Finite element anlaysis knowledge (FEMAP or equivalent)
• Genie software or equivalent knowledge
• Solid Structural hand calculation knowledge
• Strong technical skills in structure
• Good project management skills
• Fluent English

Specific skills / expertise / product:

• Lifting experience as a plus
• Site experience as a plus
• - Transportation experience as a plus
• Good understanding of offshore code and standard
