About the Project:
Join our client's Project, currently in the EPSCC (Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction, and Commissioning) phase. This exciting development involves production from subsea wells to a spread-moored FPSO (VLCC conversion) with a capacity of 75,000 barrels of oil per day, 60,000 barrels of water injection, 400 MMscfd of gas reinjection, and oil tandem offloading. The project operates with a contextualised technical referential and high HSE standards.
Role Overview:
As the FPSO Lead Telecom Engineer, you will play a critical role in supervising and coordinating telecom engineering activities performed by the EPSCC contractor for Block 20. Your expertise will ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and technical standards, delivering high-quality results within schedule and cost constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
- HSE Leadership:
- Demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding HSE practices.
- Implement and enforce HSE requirements within the telecom domain.
- Engineering Supervision:
- Oversee telecom engineering activities by the EPSCC contractor, ensuring compliance with technical and HSE standards.
- Provide technical support and challenge contractors to optimise cost, work, and schedule.
- Review and comment on engineering documents, consolidating feedback from specialists and entities as needed.
- Ensure timely responses to clarifications, deviations, and unexpected technical issues.
- Project Coordination:
- Prepare deviation requests to FPSO Key Technical Requirements and follow up with Head Office experts for resolution.
- Assist in procurement, commissioning, and operations preparation activities.
- Participate in project technical reviews, ensuring timely implementation of findings.
- Deliverables and Reporting:
- Manage supervision and coordination of telecom engineering activities.
- Ensure proper reporting to the Engineering Manager, highlighting critical issues and proposing remedial actions.
- Advanced expertise in telecom engineering activities within oil and gas projects.
- Proven ability to lead, organise, and coordinate multidisciplinary tasks effectively.
- Solution-oriented mindset with rigorous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Languages: English (mandatory); French is a plus.
