Lead Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Electrical Engineer to manage and oversee all electrical engineering aspects of a major project, ensuring design and implementation meet the highest standards. This role is based in Paris, France, with an initial contract duration of 12 months, renewable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all electrical engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements and international standards.
• Act as the technical authority for electrical disciplines, supporting studies, and subcontracted engineering tasks.
• Lead the review of technical documentation, contractor deliverables, and vendor evaluations.
• Ensure designs prioritize constructability, operability, and sustainability.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project alignment.
• Provide technical assistance for audits, inspections, and testing (e.g., HAZOP, FAT).
• Promote knowledge transfer, document lessons learned, and contribute to personnel development.

Requirements:

• Chartered Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
• 10-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry or construction field, with 10 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of international electrical standards, project specifications, and H3SE policies.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in FEED activities, vendor assessments, and interface management.
