This position reports to

Laboratory Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will join the Laboratory team responsible for testing and certification of ABB low volt-age products. You will be included in the Short Circuit Area of our Lab and will work on a diagnostic tool for arc plasma detection inside low voltage circuit breakers. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area Smart Buildings division located in Vittuone. You will be mainly accountable for: • Upgrading of the tool both from the software and the hardware point of view. • Defining of a user interface to easily collect data. • System testing and validation. • Performance of short circuit tests on different devices.

Qualifications for the role

• You have strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Possess a knowledge of MATLAB, LabView and Ansys Maxwell.
• You are passionate about science and technology supported by a strong technical background. Knowledge about the use of basic Laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, multime-ter, functions generator etc...).
• Degree in Electrical or Electronical engineering.
• You are at ease communicating in Italian (C2 level) and English (at least B2 level), both written and spoken.
