This position reports to

Field Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Service Business of ABB, Philippines. You will be mainly accountable for: • Providing onsite or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories. • Consulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures, and safety guidelines. • Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing specialist support and solutions. • Coordinating and executing specialist projects through planning, meeting milestones and regular reviews. • Identifying opportunities for the development of new service applications, equipment, and methods. • Most domestic and some international travel will be required, as the role will require hands-on support at customer sites. • Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Qualifications for the role

• You are skilled in High Voltage and Medium Voltage equipment, transformer, protection relay, switchgear, and power substation.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing of variable frequency drives along other automation products and systems in various light to heavy industries gives added factor.
• Experience in applications in industries such as Water/Wastewater, Mining, Cement, Commercial, etc.
• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• You are at ease communicating in English.
• Ability to travel frequently across Philippines.
