On behalf of a mjor energy client, WRS are seeking an experienced Contract Engineer to support offshore wind transportation and installation projects. This role is based in Paris and involves European business travel, working on procurement strategy, contract negotiations, and supplier engagement for offshore wind installation vessels and services.

On behalf of a mjor energy client, WRS are seeking an experienced Contract Engineer to support offshore wind transportation and installation projects. This role is based in Paris and involves European business travel, working on procurement strategy, contract negotiations, and supplier engagement for offshore wind installation vessels and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis on offshore wind installation vessels, suppliers, and contracts.
- Consolidate market intelligence and supplier data for marine installation vessel suppliers.
- Organize consultations with industry actors and supply chain partners.
- Support the preparation of tenders, administer calls for tenders, and analyze results.
- Negotiate contractual terms, ensuring alignment with project and business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with procurement processes, ethics, and internal stakeholder requirements.
- Manage contract execution like a project, ensuring timelines, costs, quality, and sustainability are met.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
- Experience in contract negotiations within the offshore marine industry.
- Knowledge of offshore transport and installation activities, including foundation, turbine, cable, and substation installation.
- Familiarity with offshore wind methodologies and supply chain engagement.
- Proficiency in contract and procurement processes, including bid preparation and evaluation.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, international environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Fluency in English; French
- Proficiency in Power BI and digital procurement tools (SAP, e-sourcing) is advantageous.
