A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to support a major carbon capture and storage project, contributing to the UK’s net-zero targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise instrumentation design, ensuring compliance with safety and contractual requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and engineering documentation.
- Support vendor selection, reviewing control valve, safety valve, and measurement element sizing calculations.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring integration of 3D modelling and P&ID mechanisation.
- Provide technical support to project and construction teams.
- Oversee subcontracted engineering activities and ensure quality assurance.
- Degree-qualified engineer with significant onshore instrumentation experience.
- Strong expertise in preparing BOQs, MTOs, and installation specifications.
- Proven ability to manage cost estimates and vendor documentation.
