System Service & Engineering (SS&E) in Lynn Haven, FL, is a top-tier Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Service Company for Commercial Facilities throughout Northwest Florida. We are currently looking to add a Generator Technician to our team to help build out our Service department. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines.
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuit boards.
  • Perform routine generator maintenance to include oil and filter change, fuel filter change, and cooling system services.
  • Troubleshoot complete electrical systems.
  • Work with customers on a one-on-one basis.
  • Complete and submit work orders and reports.
  • Prepare accurate quotes for repairs.
  • Maintain truck inventory.

Qualifications:
  • 5-7+ years of experience in the industry
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Vo-tech school or Military training, is a plus.
  • John Deere, Cummins, and/or Caterpillar engine training is preferred.
  • Training on Automatic Transfer Switches.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
