Telecom/Senior Engineer oil and gas
 
Contract period: 03.03.2025 - 31.12.2027
Location: Asker

Main Tasks:

• Define and development of Telecom philosophy, and design solutions for Telecom sub systems including remote operations, maintenance, monitoring, and new technologies.
• Follow up telecom vendors and vendors technical documentation.
• Interface to other disciplines, suppliers, other installations, and client.
• Develop and complete engineering documents and data registers.
• Participate and contribute to relevant test activities, workshops and reviews. 
• Site support to fabrication yard.

Qualifications:

• Master or Bachelor degree or relevant technical education.
• Ex course, FSE course.
• Long relevant practical experience may outweigh and compensate for a lack of formal education.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience from Telecom engineering and telecom system design activities within wind projects or greenfield oil and gas or other relevant experience.
• Experience and deep knowledge of telecom design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, DNVGL and IEC.
• Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English.
• Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment.
• A natural team player but possess the ability to work independently.
• Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements.
• Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others.
• Innovative approach, eager to improve methodology and solutions.
• Ability to understand and implement requirements stated in new standards.
