Rotating Equipment Engineer

12-Month Contract (Paris)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to support the execution of EPC, FEED, or EPC proposal projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for rotating equipment engineering tasks under the supervision of the Lead Rotating Engineer or the Head of Rotating Equipment Department, depending on the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project contracts and technical requirements.
• Prepare specifications, data sheets, and bid packages for rotating equipment.
• Conduct technical bid evaluations, facilitate supplier clarification meetings, and prepare Technical Bid Tabulations (TBTs).
• Develop and submit purchase documentation for selected equipment.
• Review and provide feedback on vendor documentation.
• Participate in vendor testing and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Ensure adherence to contractual requirements, industry standards (API 617, API 616), and project-specific regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Rotating Equipment Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, pumps, gas turbines, and steam turbines.
• Mandatory expertise in API 617 and API 616 standards.
• Ability to work within contractual and project constraints.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) for supplier communications and technical documentation.
• Experience in offshore projects (preferred).
• Strong technical reporting and communication skills.

Documentation & Quality Expectations:

• Work will be conducted following established engineering procedures and discipline best practices.
• Deliverables must meet high standards in technical accuracy, content completeness, and document presentation.
• All documentation must be written in English (as per contract requirements).
