Are you ready to join our team as an Artificial Lift Technician and make a significant impact in the oil and gas industry? As a Contract Artificial Lift Technician, you will work full-time in Carlsbad, New Mexico, United States, using your expertise in artificial lift, mechanical troubleshooting, and field studies to ensure efficient production operations. Join us and be engaged daily with our production operations in the field and collaborate with our technical teams in the office.
Role Overview
- Perform fluid level shots on various forms of artificial lift to optimize production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on all forms of artificial lift to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Monitor production of all wells to identify and address any issues that may arise.
- Check current rod design on failed rod pump wells and adjust as needed before scheduling repairs.
- Schedule repair and maintenance jobs on all wells, such as load & tests, polish rod changes, or pump flushes.
- Enter any subsurface jobs into Wellview database for documentation and tracking purposes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in artificial lift techniques and technologies.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with field studies and data analysis.
- Optional: Familiarity with fluid level shots for production optimization.
- Optional: Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving issues.
- Optional: Ability to monitor production and identify potential issues.
- Optional: Knowledge of scheduling repair and maintenance jobs.
- Optional: Familiarity with Wellview database for documentation purposes.
Education & Experience
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Technical degree or certification in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in artificial lift operations or related field.
