Elevate Your Career in Surface Tree & Wellhead Engineer with Airswift

We are seeking a highly skilled Surface Tree & Wellhead Engineer to join our Operator clients' team in Aberdeen, United Kingdom for an 18 month contract. As a key member of the team, you will provide technical expertise and operational support for surface wellhead and Xmas tree systems, tooling, and services.

Role Overview

• Provide technical support for new well construction, intervention, and abandonment activities from a jackup drilling rig.
• Manage and maintain company-owned equipment and ensure lessons learned are captured and shared.
• Act as the focal point with suppliers for scheduling, management, refurbishment, and certification of surface trees, wellhead equipment, tooling, and intervention systems.
• Manage rig interfaces, equipment handling, and clash checks.
• Organize and compile accurate rig survey reports and make recommendations for modifications and enhancements as needed.
• Provide technical and cost estimation input for surface wellheads and trees.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for surface wellhead and tree scopes.
• Review and approve supplier operations and maintenance manuals.
• Develop and agree on SIT plans and procedures for all wellhead and Xmas tree systems to ensure technical integrity assurance.
• Maintain the SIT master schedule and coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of SIT are satisfied.
• Provide exemplary HS&E leadership to ensure corporate policies and initiatives are applied to all wellhead and tree system integration testing operations.
• Support the execution of wellhead and tree related activities in collaboration with the Operations team.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Applicants should have extensive experience and knowledge of surface tree and wellhead systems, preferably with Cameron surface systems.
• Experience in similar role for Operator.
• Familiarity with tooling and services related to surface tree and wellhead systems.
