Our client, at tier-1 mining operator is seeking a GIS Solution Architect to lead the design and integration of GIS solutions. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable GIS solutions
• Develop GIS technology road maps
• Integrate GIS with enterprise systems
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members
• Ensure compliance with industry standards
• Optimise system performance and troubleshoot issues

Skills and Experience:

• 7 years in GIS architecture and development
• Expertise in ESRI ArcGIS and open-source GIS platforms
• Knowledge of GIS web services and cloud solutions
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C#, or Java
• Experience with geospatial databases and analytics
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in a related field.
• GIS platform certifications are a plus
• Proven track record in delivering enterprise GIS solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
