Location: San Clemente Island, CA

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal classroom education equivalent to Navy "C" School or vocational school, with formal training in Primary and Secondary Power Production generation, storage, and distribution equipment maintenance or 5 years documented experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Valid Local Driver License
• Current DoD SECRET security clearance

5 years' demonstrated experience or skills in at least 3 all of the following areas:

• Primary Power equipment;
• Secondary Power equipment;
• Diesel engine maintenance and repair:
• Digital/analog control systems;
• Industrial electricity safety equipment and procedures;
• Inverter equipment;
• Lightning surge suppression equipment;
• Solor Power generation equipment;
• Power storage equiment (battery);

General Duties and Duties Specific to Specialization Required for Position. Without supervision perform the following:

• Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals, wiring diagrams or similar documents.
• Applies technical knowledge in troubleshooting, isolating malfunctions, repairing to the component level, and incorporating engineering changes.
• Repairs power generation/distrubution equipment.
• Performs corrosion control as necessary in accordance with established procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned by competent authority to support mission success
• Documents maintenance actions in IEMS.
