Job Summary:
Bay Systems Consulting, is seeking an EPS Solar Arrays Engineer to support Preliminary Design Review (PDR) through Critical Design Review (CDR) for the NOAA Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) satellite program. The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing and tracking milestone reviews, coordinating stakeholder tasks, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and technical documentation skills to ensure that PDR/CDR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

The Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) satellite program, developed by NOAA and NASA, is a next-generation initiative designed to enhance Earth observation capabilities from geostationary orbit. Lockheed Martin serves as the prime contractor, responsible for spacecraft development to improve weather forecasting, environmental monitoring, and climate research.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing and tracking milestone reviews, coordinating stakeholder tasks, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and technical documentation skills to ensure that PDR/CDR processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain entry and exit criteria for PDR and CDR review milestones.
- Assign and track tasks and action items to responsible stakeholders, ensuring accountability.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
- Review and verify stakeholder slide decks, meeting minutes, and documentation to confirm completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with stakeholders to address outstanding tasks, action items, and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with program milestones by monitoring progress and facilitating resolution of any roadblocks.
Key Deliverables:
- Weekly meeting minutes, including action items and task assignments.
- Bi-weekly status reports tracking progress toward PDR and CDR milestones.
- Completed entry and exit criteria documentation for PDR and CDR milestones.
- Verified and reviewed stakeholder slide decks, ensuring completeness and accuracy of meeting minutes and reports.
- PDR SDRLs (Supplier Data Requirements Lists) and tracking documentation to support program progress.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in spacecraft solar array engineering, power systems, or related engineering disciplines.
- Experience with PDR/CDR milestone tracking, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong knowledge of design review processes, documentation management, and action item tracking.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and coordinate technical reviews.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) for documentation and tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting NASA, NOAA, or space-based power systems programs.
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin's design review processes and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of Supplier Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs) and milestone tracking tools.
