Electrical Engineer High Voltage

Main Tasks:

• Design and specify electrical systems solutions and strategies for projects in study, FEED and detail phases. In this role you will collaborate closely with project and company representatives across disciplines. Main electrification scope includes land cables, sub sea cables, HV-equipment in onshore -and offshore substations, as well as power other offshore platforms and grid connection.
• Responsible for the Main Power Supply Package Specification, detailing the technical and functional requirements for high & low voltage suppliers to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
• Manage the Electrical System Infrastructure (ESI) package from development to execution, including detailed engineering, fabrication, logistics, installation, contract management, and hand-over to operation
• Develop and assist in design of electrical philosophies, strategies, topologies, single line diagrams, load list, system description, PMS/PDCS systems and electrical system solutions
• Follow up electrical system calculations, analyses and assessments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• FSE course, Ex course
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering from Norwegian continental shelf projects  
• Solid understanding of electrical system analysis and transmission systems
• Experience from Offshore electrification projects 
• Proven track record in conceptual and detailed engineering for large-scale projects
• Experience and deep knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNV and IEC
• Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English - Both orally and in writing 
• Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment 
• A natural team player, but possess the ability to work independently 
• Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements 
• Proactive, seeking advice and sharing own experiences with others
